Once you have something in mind, you need to do a little bit of digging. Picking a niche that is too broad and hugely popular is going to take longer to get that much needed traffic. If you pick a micro niche, you may have a problem of not having an audience. I.E no traffic!

Step 4: Traffic!!
The most important step, traffic! You can have a great blog, great content but if no-one see's it, then unfortunately no commission! All your efforts in creating awesome content is wasted if you don't get traffic. You need visitors to make money!
Try the proven methods below to get traffic flowing and ultimately your commission.
In the early days of SEO, many site owners saw this as an opportunity to plaster broad keywords all over their sites. Thankfully, search engines have gotten smarter since then. This means that you have to be a bit more careful when selecting and using keywords, but also that users are shown better results. So what kinds of keywords should you use?
Not only will you need keywords, your content needs to deliver on quality and relevance. Google will determine whether you content is suitable for the reader, so be sure to deliver information and lots of it and this is no easy task!
500 words does not cut it anymore, it is advised that page content should be up-to 2.5k words, but no more that 4k. However, quality should be over quantity, never "fluff" the content just to increase the word count.
Googles likes to see content that is rich, informative and/or regularly updated. Most search engines want active, regular content. Always ensure new content is delivered once a week - at least.
4.2. Email Marketing
Email Marketing is a strategy that consists of funnelled and segmented emails to subscribers. The intention is to build loyalty and brand awareness. Under no circumstance should you send emails without the consent of the recipient.
The first step in email marketing is collecting email addresses from interested potential customers. Collecting viable and credible email addresses to use in a marketing campaign is one of the toughest tasks marketers have to undertake.
4.3. Social Media
If you are serious about your content, then you also need to be serious about driving as much traffic to it (over social media) as possible. One great way to do this is to share your content on social media more than once.
Immediately after publishing a new blog post, we promote that post on social media. When we share it with each of our networks, we garner a certain number of clicks for each share. In the chart above, I hypothesise about a post that is sent to Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ immediately after the post goes live. The return on the effort looks great.
4.4. Influencer Marketing
Influencer marketing, which is currently the most popular form of generating traffic and used by leading brands.
In a bid to gain more traffic you'll need to reach out to influencers to promote your products or brand. In exchange, you offer them a gift and/or payment for service.
With that in mind, only reach out to influencers that relate to your niche and an engaging audience, a typical rule of thumb is a following of 5k +.
Their are many services around to help you with the hunt for influencers, but the one that I've used recently was influence.co. It's a great service and has impeccable customer support.
Social Media is challenging at the best of times and we all need a helping hand at times! One of my favourite tools to give a little organic boost for an Instagram account is the Social Mass Engager at Stellation Media.
